It’s Saturday morning. Tom gets up and looks out of the window.

“Oh, it’s raining!” he says.

Tom wants to go outside.

He puts on his clothes and has breakfast with his mom.

“What can I do today?” Tom asks.

“You can read a book,” Mom says. “Or you can draw a picture.”

“你可以看书，”妈妈说，“或者画一幅画。”

Tom likes the idea.

He takes some paper and his crayons.

他拿来一些纸和自己的蜡笔。

First, he draws a big tree.

首先，他画了一棵大树。

Then he draws a little house under the tree.

然后，他在树下画了一座小房子。

There is a boy in front of the house.

房子前面有一个男孩。

After lunch, the rain stops.

午饭后，雨停了。

Tom opens the door and looks outside.

汤姆打开门，向外面看去。

“Can I go for a walk now?”

“Yes, you can,” Mom says.
